This Carrizo Plain Superbloom quilt, inspired by a photo taken by Nicki Voss at Carrizo Plain National Monument, US Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management, was purchased in contract with Annie Wharton Art Consulting for the Los Angeles County Civic Art Collection for installation in a regional medical center.

Textilepop

I have a lifelong fascination with mapping, geography and the outdoors. My quilt work originates with photographs that I take of landscapes and of nature. These photos are the source inspiration for the color composition and graphic layout of each quilt.
